About Café Carré
Café Carré is a European café, bakery & bar in Ho Chi Minh City — “Your short trip to Europe” — serving specialty coffee, daily-baked viennoiserie, brunch, sourdough sandwiches and pizza, and an aperitivo bar, across five locations in District 1, Thảo Điền and Thủ Đức.
The flagship on Nguyễn Huệ walking street in District 1 runs from morning to late evening: croissants, pain au chocolat and other viennoiserie baked daily behind the counter, specialty and Vietnamese coffee through the day, and a bar that turns the terrace over to Spritz O’Clock from 16:00 and Cocktail Hour from 17:00 to 19:00. On Saturday and Sunday, Weekend Brunch starts at 08:00 at both cafés.
Across the river in Thảo Điền, the garden café adds the only sourdough pizza in the group — a 48-hour fermented crust — with Pizza & Wine evenings from Thursday to Sunday. Three Carré Express counters in District 1 and An Phú serve the same coffee and bakes to take away. Wherever you sit down in Saigon, breakfast, brunch, an afternoon matcha or an evening aperitivo all speak the same language.

There are five. Café Carré at 116 Nguyễn Huệ (District 1) and Café Carré Thảo Điền at 18 Trần Ngọc Diện (Thủ Đức) are open 08:00–23:00 daily. Three Carré Express grab-and-go counters round it out: Phùng Khắc Khoan (08:00–21:30), Union Square at 171 Đồng Khởi (10:00–22:00) and An Phú at 39 Cao Đức Lân (08:00–19:45).
Which location serves sourdough pizza?
Sourdough pizza is served only at Café Carré Thảo Điền, 18 Trần Ngọc Diện — the crust ferments for 48 hours before baking. The Nguyễn Huệ flagship serves sourdough sandwiches and tartines instead.

Carré Express is Café Carré’s grab-and-go counter format for coffee, daily bakes and quick bites. Two counters sit inside the Rue Miche fashion concept store — at 9B Phùng Khắc Khoan and at Union Square LL3, 171 Đồng Khởi — and a third serves the An Phú neighbourhood at 39 Cao Đức Lân.
